Last night I went and saw the Avett Brothers. They were better than I remembered- SUCH good performers. If you haven't seen them you should, and if you haven't heard of them, you need to. Check them out.
Also, the Low Anthem opened for them. I've never heard a band go from such extreme genre to extreme genre. They kept soothing me with their harmonies, then blowing me away with their unique instruments (that they would switch EVERY song) and then becoming a blues band and just singing from the bottom of their throats....it was incredible. AND they wore grungy t-shirts and all had long flowy hair. I sort of felt like they should've starred in Almost Famous.
